you could also do what my friend did with his jvs and use a small cheap crossover after the H/U that should give you 2 or 3 sets of rca outs

my best friend is running the hex's up front of his cobalt... and although they do get real loud, they are a very in your face tweeter, even when attenuated down to -3db. if your able to find a smoother tweet, the mid and xover are excellent sounding. well worth the 200

true. you can compare with p3s, and i love mine. in a sealed box, in the back of a convertible firebird with only 1.5 ft. each sub i hit 138's on the meter steady...

i have always gone with a kenwood HU for excellent sound reproduction. pretty much any of their HU's in the excelon series are all 4V or higher. u can find some online for as low as 120, and it will sound just as good as the 200+ units. those just have certain added features. check out the unit...

im looking for a new or used crossover for my rockford Type RF comps 5.25" Somehow im getting water in my door, so terminals all rusted out, and 2 relays inside fell off the Xover. im super pissed. so pllease anyone with something that will work let me know

the rockfords sound pretty good. lots of tonal response, I was thinking about those for my firebird, but i went with the P3 standards instead. sound wise they were the same, but for obvbious reasons the shallows just didnt hit as hard

if you want your SPL subs to mix with good SQ comps try putting them into a sealed box. with a decent midbass you should be able to mix your subs in. You will want to deaden your doors though

the driver side tweet in my frontstage setup, went out on me about 2 months ago. I figured i blew that tweet but checked wires just to make sure there was no loose connections. So here is the weird part. turn my car on today and all of a sudden its producing sound... no distortion whatsoever...
