I'm sorry, I don't have an answer to your question. But, I have the same HU and am not very happy with it. If you're using an ipod through your HU are the controls awful or is it just mine? The shuffle feature works some of the time, even though all the song information on the ipod is correct...

Nothing that I know of. I haven't heard of anything specifically with that model. I was basing my opinion on what seems to be a concensus that Alpine isn't as good as they used to be.

Update, I just realized the Clarion MAX 675VD doesn't come with the Nav like their site makes it seem. Still ain't out yet.
