    Question for BA Pro 6.5's

they are actually a 3ohm nominal load, so whatever power an amp makes at 4 ohms it will pull a little more out of it. honestly, they will handle anything you can throw at them, provided you follow 2 conditions: 1) you are a responsible listener. know when to back off of the volume control. if...

kpr10is = great installer, great person

looks good. the only thing i'd probably change is remove the screws one at a time, use a razor blade and make an "X" where the scew hole is, split your X by pulling up the carpet where you cut it, screw it back in, and cover it up with the carpet, just to make the screws disappear. but i'm...

What kind/brand of 6-1/2" speakers offer the most bass?

this man knows his stuff. listen to what he says a system's sound is 90% installation and 10% equipment. you can make crappy equipment sound outstanding, and ultra expensive equipment sound like a wet fart. it's all in the install.

    Boston Pro60s

the pro's also have a SQ1 and SQ2 switch to change response for on axis and off axis installations. and in addition to the tweeter protection, they also have a form of the AMD which smoothes out the tweeter response. boston's alum tweets get some nasty spikes in the upper frequencies without...

it's in mint condition. any 'flaws' you see on the faceplate are really just glare from the flash catching streaks on it from wiping it off. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh35/pb4ugotobed/radanxm.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh35/pb4ugotobed/rad.jpg

Right side component makes noise, not a good noise.

FWIW I used to have an old school mtx amp that the hard ground on the RCA inputs broke, and it would play a loud (LOUD ) humming noise regardless of the radio volume. I took it to the local repair shop, it took him 10 minutes and cost me 10 bucks to have him solder a soft ground on the RCA...

i don't know what memphis does, but boston does the 70% off msrp thing as well for authorized dealers. contact your rep for details, they can get you a sheet with everything you need. that's how i got my Z6's for $300

    CC EMPLOYEES...hook me up?!

iirc kenwood's accomodation is 70% off msrp, though if you go ALL kenwood for the entire system, they give you an even better price. don't remember exactly what it was but considerably cheaper. i like boston the best personally, my Z6's cost me $300. cant beat that!
