make sure your amp is one ohm stable too

i dont know much about the premier deck, but i know with the alpine deck its nice to be able to control how much power is being given to your sub from the deck so u dont have to mess with your amp, thats a real nice feature to have.

just get an alpine head unit, alpine HUs have something called bass engine or something like that, and u can control how much power your sub is pushing out. buying an alpine will probably save u loads of time and work, besides they my favorite HU

ive never heard them myself but i havent heard that good of things about them. how much are you spending on them and how much are you looking to spend on your new amp

well if you get a sealed box you will get a tighter bass

what sub(s) are u looking to make a box for, maybe i can draw you up some plans

100 bucks per sub isnt going to get you some good stuff, instead of buying 2 12s for 100 a piece, id just get 1 12 for 200, i think you would be happier with the sq, thats just my opinion tho

you can wire it to the head unit, but if your gonna get the components, i would amp it up and get them going loud

im going to buy this sub but i need a box for it. does any one have any plans on how to build a sealed box 1.30 -1.52 cu.ft. that can withstand 1000 watts? or an pre-assembled box? that would be great, thanks in advance

components speperate the tweeter and the midrange speaker so you get a much cleaner sound than regular 2 way or coaxles

im pretty new but i have a great understanding with most of this car audio stuff, but i was wondering if i could fit a 6" speaker in my 4x6 slot since i have 4x6 slots in my front doors and i want good components and i cant find any 4x6 components that are good. any help is apreciated, thanks
