If yellow goes to yellow as the 12v constant. Why would the blue yellow /blue white incorrect wiring cause the memory to not be stored. Sorry, but I am trying to understand what’s happening rather than just fix it

I think the guys that installed the aftermarket stereo and steering wheel controls used the blue white wire instead of the blue yellow wire. Could this cause my problem?

Thanks for the quick reply:) The head unit is a JVC KW-R710 My amp turns on and on with the ignition. It has a Auto-Start Smart turn-on and thats working fine.
