with the amp you have id get a memphis m class 12. i see youre in baton rouge onsite audio has the m classes for like 120 for a 12

crossfire hands down in my opinion. they could do more with more amp though. i loved the bmf's i had because they get loud and still sound really good when tuned low.

have you thought about an IDMAX. they have great sq sealed or ported low and get really loud too. and they can handle the power too as long as you listen responsibly.

the idmaxs had far better sq but i cannot really compare output as the 2 12s were in 6 cubes at 35 hz with 1200 rms each and my XXXs were 15s in 5 cubes each at 33 with 2400 rms each(the setups were far too different to make a halfway decent comparison)but i liked the idmax 12s better. they can...

i never sent them in theyre not blown i just needed d4s instead of d2s for my new amp but i called tech and talked to them about the price. ive talked to them a few times for box sizes and such and never had a problem getting ahold of em.

cant remember the exact price but you could get at least 1 shiva for that. the few ive heard were really quick and efficient.

i wouldnt think it is bottoming out because i think most hi end companies make their subs now with enough rearward clearance now that the sub reaches its suspension limitations before it slams the coil.

i have 2 idmax 12s too and when i was gonna get them reconed to d4s they wanted 95 per sub cause it came out to 190 for the pair.

yeah it sounds like it was a good deal for a pair of any size m3s new from a shop. of course its a better deal the bigger the subs hes giving you are. most shops i know of charge at least 200+ each for those subs. try ebay too.
