I had very good results with the SR10's as well. For the money they can not be beat

where does everyone fit tweeters with bodies as large as some of those? i think not even 10 percent of the ones there would work for me :/

get a refurb rockford t3002, they put down nice power and are cheap

Kappa Perfect VQ - I've been super impressed with the perfect's. They sound good, get **** loud and are pretty efficient. They are easy to adapt to different enclosures, maybe even try going IB with it

i did it, and during times when there was a silent section of a disc and their was a hard bump or a door was shut while the amp was on, it caused it to feedback through the LOC, as the speakers were acting like microphones in a sense. Thats rare, but i have heard of it happening to other people.

^if you have a dozen alternators I had the 10" T2. If you get it for a good price, it's a very good sub. Hit the lows nicely. Not very efficient though. I'd put it this way, if you got that sub IT wouldn't be the weak link in the system

i had both, the Ref. 300 was my first amp ever. I liked the power and precision of the SS amps but they were more delicate compared to the old RF's imo. i had a few of the reference series over the years, and after a long period of running them hard i would have output transistors blow, where...

the bare metal and black was actually a LATER model, came out in 97 i think. those are the ones i had. the gold/silver painted are the early ones

I recently installed a pair of RE SR10 D2's into a way-too-small prefab enclosure for a friend. He was considering a pair of 10w3's and i happened to stumble upon a great deal on these so he picked them up. The enclosure, which he had purchased prior to the rest of the equipment was made...
