i just bought a hifonics brutus 1000d and 2 PG ti10d subs. im bring it all in for install tomorrow and just want to make sure this kit will work. i dont want the installer to trick me into buying something better if i dont need to. i have the kit that is good for 1200 amps...

you can find PG titaniums for under 100 bucks at CBRstereo.com or sonicelectronics.com its a $250 woofer.

abahn is known for spl. he also has a ton more room then you. i dont think you will be able to beat him in a reg cabin pickup truck. unless you buy very high end equipment.

louder, deeper, more expensive, takes up more space. wants more amp juice. using the same amp wattage the woofers sensitivity will play a factor. if its not an efficient speaker you might not get that much more. i dont know about the diamonds sensitivity.

i bet if you just change the box you have it will sound like a new system. people say that 39Hz tuning is way to high and to use around 30Hz. your at 50Hz. those type R's are very decent subs. pay $150 to get a good ported box tuned at like 30Hz. you will be much happier and richer.
