Hey, The manufacture of my sub said that i should have a port length of 8 inches and 4 inch diameter. Is it 8 inches long including the 3/4 deep hole that the port mounts in(box wall), Or is it 8 inches long on the inside, not including the 3/4 thickness of the wall of the box, i'm just asking...

My amp can run 2 150 rms wired in parralel, or i can run 300 rms x 1 at 2 ohms. I was thinking about getting a 12" dual 4ohm voice coil sub, and just wiring it at 2 ohms to replace my single 15" 150 rms, but It would be cheaper if i just got another 15" 150 rms and wired the two in parralel...

Is your Head Unit Stock? If so, get a new one, unless it pumps out at least 40x4. Your not getting any thump because your speakers are too small, i'd go with some nice 6x9's, but you might need to modify the rear deck, and since your door panels probably have small stock holes, i'd go with...

Has anybody been in the new Chevy SSR? In a couple of year when the price of come down they'll be sweet trucks, i got to drive in one, the thing is mad powerfull, but the truck bed in the thing is usless because it has a hard Bed cover, and the bed liner is fabric, it's basically a big as$ trunk.

if you run it paralel wouldn't that give you 2Ohms not 3, cause it divides it in half and you said it can only go to 3 so i'm thinking thats not gonna work, but i might be wrong

Hey I built my own box for my 15" rocksford sub, and the specs the guy gave me at the store(it didn't have a package) said that ported and sealed box volume is recomended at 2.5 cuft. but i always thought ported were bigger or is it more dependant on the sub. Basically i built my box sealed...

hey i'm thinking of putting a sub box on a wall so it come into the cabin from behind the fold down seat, and than having ports into the actual trunk in the wood, because i have a 15" facing up sitting back there, so i get the sound of both of them, will this work, or am i better off just...

Cancellation wouldn't be that obvious unless just because of the distance that the subs are set up, the sound waves line up the worst way, maybe try like putting one on a slight angle or something, you might pull off the oposite and get total gain, where the subs fully combine power, i dunno...

Are those sony pentagon speakers any good. and does it actually make any difference at all, or is it just the look. anybody know anyone who had them? Might get one
