yep. I had two 12v3v3's for about 3 months. They sounded awesome. Louder and clearer and more respondsive than any other system I was put up ageinst on the "streets" Ran them off an Alpine MRD-1005 now I upgraded to a 12w7 H.O. Box with a 500/1 love that even more. lol

The z1 can't be grouned out. so you can't watch dvds while driving. The Eclipse's are awsome but the 5500 only has one dvd drive- so no nav and dvd at the same time. And they are VERY expensive.. I'd get the 6600 if I had the money. Awesome head unit. I went with the kenwood DDX-6019 I LOVE...

I had a CD5000 and even though it had 8volt preouts... The kenwood DDX-6019 i have now sounds TEN times better. I agree about all the bad things about the Eclipse head units.. seriously, no pause.. BS. lol Anyway, Kenwood decks have great audio control. Good luck.

I had 2 12inch ref's, and they kicked. But when I wired them to a 750w rms amp they blew.. so.... I got 2 12inch kappas and loved them for the time I had them. LOVED them. I recommend them. They're not the loudest sub out there, but the quality of them are AWESOME!
