I love my 8k if you have the electrical, and you don't mount it where it's vibrating you'll never go into protect.

I have a charger and the battery is in the trunk I had 2runs of wire from the alt to the trunk with fuses in between the batteries. I did 2runs of grounds off the alt bolt with a wire from the alt bolt to the engine block, and one to the factory ground under the hood.

I have 4 atomic quantum 12's I used two in a 3.5 cubic box tuned to 34 and they slammed all day.

Yeah you rite about build time but it'll be worth it. I ordered the teams and it took a while to get them.

I just brought the team v2's, and so far they are great. I'm still doing tuning and doing some adjustments. If you have proper enclosure space your going to get loud if you want lowz get the sp4.

I'm running the hd8k rev1 no issues at all. I run it on good electrical and at recommend ohm load and love it!!

If you are trying to connect off the rear deck speakers just pull down the trimming and splice into the wire.
