    Need help urgent!!

Well, you have to realize that the subs/amp are connected to low level outputs and the speakers (from what you're telling me) are connected to high level outputs. The HU is not powering the subs, but it is powering the speakers. So you're using the pre-amp outputs for the subs and you're using...

    Need help urgent!!

So there are (2?) speakers being powered by the HU? If so, do you have reason to believe the HU's internal amp was working before? I know Panasonic hasn't made an HU in a long time, so this thing has to have some miles on it. Things to check: 1. Sony's internal amp is actually putting out...

    Need help urgent!!

Can you describe what the rest of the system is? What amps, speakers, connections?

    Car audio not working

The sony head unit is powering the speakers? It doesn't sound like a blow speaker, but either a loose wire or bad head unit. Try disconnecting and reconnecting all the wires. What's worth doing is investing in a DMM (digital multi meter), you can use that to diagnose most problems. For example...

    2-way vs 3-way front stage

I think some 2-way comp sets are actually masters of all.   ---------- Post added at 06:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:13 PM ----------   Forgot to mention, the car did come with shallow subs in the doors - 8" I believe.

    Doing it this week.

    2-way vs 3-way front stage

I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but to my ears, there's a "fuller" sound with a 3-way set up. I guess you can say you can be more immersed into the music.

    2-way vs 3-way front stage

Hi all, I'm looking for pros and cons for going 3-way active vs 2-way active. The obvious pro for 3-way is volume and for 2-way is price, simplicity. What are some other things to consider if doing a 3-way front stage. I do have the PS8, so processing power is not an issue. I have a 2-way setup...

I need help with choosing a subwoofer!

I think you'll be happy with soundqubed HDS210, it's really a bargain. I've used sounqubed to add a little kick to factory system before in a BMW, though we did use HDS310 in a small ported box - it actually works perfectly. You may also consider the HDS208 in a ported box. You can select the...

    Calculus

If you can graph it, graph it. It's cake from there.

    Calculus

Just make sure you can identify the axis of rotation. If there is a whole in the middle of solid of revolution, simply make sure your radius is from the inner edge to the other edge. Identifying the limits of integration is also important. Also, be sure you understand which variable you're...

    Amplifier?

Pretty much anything decent will do as long as it meets your budget and space requirements. You'll need y-adapter from the phone to the amp.

    Calculus

Not sure if you figured it out yet, but graphing the equations along with the axis of revolution helps. You do have to determine the limits of integration algebraically, but looking at the graph will help. Hint: these are generally where the given curve and axis of revolution intersect. The...

Connecting ground wire from First to Second amplifier

Unless I'm missing something that's lost in translation, this is asking for trouble. You cannot connect ground terminals of amps to each other. Ground terminal on each amp should be connected to a clean, paint free metal surface. Wire gauge should be the same as the power wire for that amp.

    2008 Elantra system upgrade.

Stock stereos do not have pre-amp outputs. You'll need to use a LOC to get the signal to your amps. That way you can keep steering controls, etc. If you replace the deck, you'll need a special adapter (if one exists) to connect the steering controls to the new deck. This time, make sure you have...
