i am definitely going for sound quality...i want my rainbows and XXX's to perform at their best...and if putting them in the doors and the rainbows in kick panels is best then thats what ill do...y would they make such a big deal out of havin speakers in the rear of the car if what you said is...

i need my leg room im not a small guy and the leg room lost from a kick panel might be just too much...ill look into it though..i just feel it would be weird to not have something coming from behind me

i hooked em up they sounded fine...i just need to get em in there...no point in debating about it cuz its all ive got to put in there...thanks for the input tho...and im gonna try fiberglassing the back speakers...is it ok for them to face more forward towards the drivers seat or does it mess...

i'd much rather have a good speaker for fill in the back than a cheap sh1tty one...the rainbow's are best for up front they are definitely a better sounding speaker than the XXX's are... if fiberglass pods are gonna give me the best sound then fiberglass pods it is...sound quality is my number...

anyone wanna make some fiberglass pods, i also need some for my rainbow slc 265's in the front? this is my first install and im not even close to ready to try fiberglassing its either cut out the holes...make a pod...or buy something...any other ideas are definitely welcome thanks for the replies

i have a problem im puttin the XXX 6.5's in the rear deck of my 1996 nissan maxima and they dont fit the spider is too wide...wtf...what can i do to get these things in there? and what sort of 'pod' or box can i create for them to perform at their best in the spot theyre at?
