You will be able to sell the sa 12s for around 300. The fi BL would be tougher to sell and you could get maybe $200 out of it. Sell the sa 12s and buy what you want if you aren't going to use either.

I think it's only a 185. I'm not sure if all of them use the same pulley size though.

It's going to be making more power at any given rpm since it will be spinning faster than the stock pulley. I measured the pulley when I installed my alt to make sure I could reuse my belt and it was the same as stock.

Since my DC has the same pulley size as my stock alt that refutes your whole claim. I'm sure your singer alt is fine, but the smaller pulley is one way they can make more power without having to upgrade the internals as much.

My dc had the same pulley size as my stock alternator. A smaller pulley compensates for not being able to make enough power with a normal sized one.

Why not just 1 HDC312 in a proper sized enclosure? 1600 would be perfect for it.

A nice high output alt doesn't need a smaller pulley to make more power. Just buy a DC or mechman alternator.

This is about my third box that I have made, but the first time I decided to take my time and actually carpet it. The box is 2 ft^3 tuned @ 32hz after all displacements. I threw in my beater sub for now, but I am going to put my fi bl 12 in when the weather gets better.

Set the HPF on the headunit to 80 or 100 hz depending on the sub LPF.
