Newbs... light flickers/goes solid when rail voltage meets output voltage. So the louder of a song you play the closer/more often you will be at rail voltage. The indicator is not lighting because of flattened clipped songs, that can contribute to it, usually its just from the punchy kicks in...

The clip light just indicates rail voltage is same as output voltage... so if you play a louder song you will reach that point sooner. so if you played a -10db sine then a -5dB sine wave the clip light would come on sooner with the -5dB, even though they are clean non clipped sine waves. The...
