See maybe that one loc is an exception, but I have had terrible luck with them. High level inputs have always worked well for me. Plus he is running a sub so sq is probably not his main concern

Yeah check fuse, that's always first. Take your headunit out and if you can, make your own ground somewhere back there. Just get your tester out and check all your work.

Use your high level outputs. Use 4 gauge for power and ground. Use any high gauge wire for the remote. I use half a cheap speaker wire. As for the subs get some decent gauge wire. Hook sub jacks up to your box inputs. Use one length of wire for each sub and both wires in amp.

Your stock alt should be 140 amps. That should be plenty, and I would definitely add another battery.

Oh lol ill take a look cross reference it with a circuit diagram should be able to find one using the code stamped on the board.

Dvd only turns on when the parking brake is on? My guess would be that when the brake is engaged it either completes a ground or sends a remote signal, just replicate that into the did player harness. That way you brake dash light wouldn't be on. I feel as though I'm not making any sense.
