yeah i know a local shop here that carries RE/ US amps. I am not sure if they impose the dealer restrictions though .. like if one dealer carries it another can't within so many miles. Need to check into that. Give em a call.. won't take me a few minutes to get the info you need.

smaller has nothing to do with clarity by the way. I would do an IDQ if you want good output with SQ maybe even a PG RSD if you are on a budget a lot of it is going to be in the box design along with your crossover settings and such as far as clearing up the bass.

right, about the tires, the first number is only the width... the actual thickness is the 2nd number aka aspect ratio which represents the percentage of the first number in thickness. The last number is of course the size of the diameter of the rim it goes on.

well.. just thinking but maybe you can make a masonite cutout of your mounting bracket. then line the top of the cutout with some deadener. then put the mounting bracket on top of the cutout and screw it all into place. Should help reduce the vibrations the headunit is getting.

how does that work out? will never know till you try it really. SoundStream just started making headunits not too long ago if i remember correctly. That unit in the link though looks nice with some good features. Might be worth a try.

or you could just get 5x7 comps.. just a thought.
