iam currently re-doing my install and needed some adice. I have a JBL 1200.1 pushing 2 12'' Type R's and i want to build 2 seperate boxes for each speaker so there on opposite sides of my hatch. i was thinking of just goin and puttin in a box wiht 1.5cu ft sealed, but more is better right...

im located in the sunny okanagan.. Kelowna the box is 36 wide, 29 deep and 5.5 high also i fibreglasses the spare tire which is 26 diameter and 6 deep thx alot man

I just recently finsihed building a new box fro my type R's and anyways i was wondering how do i figure out the tuning frequency to port my box to? and what dimensions i shoudl make my port? the box is 3.6 cu ft, any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks alot

for dual ports could i just take the measurment i have for my one port and divide it in half for two ports? would it be tuned for the same frequency? thanks for any help

I have 2 12' Type R's running off a 1200.1, yes the amp requires power my stock alternator was done in over a couple months it was 60amp i have a high output Bosch in there now with no problems. i had 2 12' type R's sealed then i went ported they hit soo much better (SPL wise) but you do loose the SQ so one trade off for the other, the local shop here recommend i go ported too buts its up to you. the R;s can take ported look at that premade Alpine box for them the Red one its ported is...

i want to invert 1 sub only and leave the other one normal, my question is will i loose/gain anything or is it just for looks, also if i do should i switch the positive and negative wire? its a SVC if that helps
