    I am about to order my new sub i really want a alpine type r buti'm worried that running it off a bridged mrv t420 it will just sound crap. should i get the less powerful type s which has very close rms figures to the amp. HELP!!!

    ok. this is my problem. i have a mrv t420 which is i have bridged i was planning on using it to run a 10" alpine type r but i'm not sure it will be powerful enough. i had planned on purchasing a dual 2ohm voice coil unit and wiring it so the amp see's a 4ohm load.
