I generally find nothing sounds best than an original cd in my car. Then again, I have more SQ-oriented equipment that can take advantage of good recordings. There is no question.. Mp3's sound worse than CD's, but i can carry 9,000 in my ipod. It's a tradeoff.

Sure. 60 watts is just fine for most interior speakers.

You generally get what you pay for in car audio. My Type-X comps specify no more than 75 watts each, yet will sound better than either one of those comps you listed above... and retail for a bit more than those kickers you listed.
