Well since the IDMAX seems to be on back order from every place I have checked I guess I should look for some other subs.
My other choice was the W6v2... though I really want to run Zapco amps (Zapco REF1100.1 for subs & Zapco REF1000.4 for comps). With the W6v2's having only 4ohm DVC's I'm limited to 1 or 4 ohms. I doubt the REF1100.1 is 1ohm stable and at 4ohms I believe I would be underpowering the subs IMO. I would really like to see about 600WRMS to each sub. I guess I could run the W6v2's and get a JL 1000/1 and JL 450/4 but I hear they are inefficient?
Anyways so I guess if I don't go with the JL a few have been suggesting Sound Splinter subs? I have not heard much about this company, how are their RL-p drivers? I'm mostly going for SQ but I do want it to get fairly loud as well. I've always wanted to run a 15" sub also, so if I got the room should I go for 2 15" RL-p subs or stick with the 12's?
