So would i need to upgrade my alternator could i just add a second stock alternator

I have a 2000 escalade with 4 massive hippo subs 2 massive "D8000 a T400 on 4 jbl 6.5 a hertz on 4 4" powerbass mids. To run this without clipping how many batteries do i need and what size should my second alt. be.

I am a little rusty with my math. Is there anyone who can help me determine where to start my bend so i can accurately get a 2 inch port.

What will cause my amp to flash the protection light when the bass hits certain lows. I am currently running a 1ohm load to a 1ohm stable massive N4 but it is overheating after a while gain has never been over half, I did the big 3 and it stop my voltage drop for a while but it is still pulling...

Yea it is 1ohm stable my gain has never been over have on this amp at a 1ohm i havent turned my deck volume over 15 because of so much power loss.

My amp is also getting hot and going to protection which is a first running at a 2ohm load i could let it play for 6 a hours and it would not even get warm.

I changed my sub from the dual 2ohms to dual 4s so I could get the full 1ohm load out of my Massive N4 but now I am seeing a major draw on my electrical. On some songs it will pull my guage from 14v down to 10 or 9.

Is there any one out there that can make me a cut sheet
