Does anyone know how to get to the fan in a Kicker SX1250.1? Just recently mine started buzzing, so I wanted to check it out but can't figure out how to get to it. I tried unscrewing the ends, but once I got that far I couldn't figure out what to do. It looks like its designed for everything...

BINGO!!! My 2 12" Polk SR124-DVCs hit extremely tight and punchy in my box. Its a sealed, chambered box with 1.16cft per sub before displacement, and each driver then displaces 0.14cft. I really like it, but have thought about going to a slightly bigger box to the Polk recommended 1.20cft...

I've got a Stinger SPV44 as my secondary and it has always worked great for me. They're usually around $160 shipped.

You know, this might be coming a little late, but I wouldn't get it installed at Best Buy. I'd actually take it back and tell them to uninstall it and give me a refund... J/K, but seriously, next time around, get a car audio specific place to do your installation.

Well, I'll tell you the Polk stuff would set you apart from everyone else to a degree just because not everyone runs around with it (mainly due to the price tag that comes along with Polk stuff). But thats not a good reason to choose something over the other. Either way, you won't go wrong...

I've read good things about Audiocontrol and my local shop sells their stuff. I know Crutchfield (which is usually a little pricey, but not always) has the Overdrive for $120 and the Matrix for $200.
