    Kicker SX1250.1 fan troubles...

I'm sure someone here has had an SX amp that they took apart. This buzzing is getting on my nerves.

    Kicker SX1250.1 fan troubles...

Does anyone know how to get to the fan in a Kicker SX1250.1? Just recently mine started buzzing, so I wanted to check it out but can't figure out how to get to it. I tried unscrewing the ends, but once I got that far I couldn't figure out what to do. It looks like its designed for everything...

    tight sq punchy bass HOW?

BINGO!!! My 2 12" Polk SR124-DVCs hit extremely tight and punchy in my box. Its a sealed, chambered box with 1.16cft per sub before displacement, and each driver then displaces 0.14cft. I really like it, but have thought about going to a slightly bigger box to the Polk recommended 1.20cft...

Will I regret replacing my Alpine 9835?

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The older Alpine decks are extremely solid decks. I liked my 9827 more than I do my 9886, but the 9827 got stolen, hence the reason why I now have the 9886.

I've got a Stinger SPV44 as my secondary and it has always worked great for me. They're usually around $160 shipped.

Secondary battery dead, question about new one.

Since no one is replying I'll take it as a sign to just replace it with another Stinger SPV44. Guess it falls into the "if something works for you then stick with it" category.

Secondary battery dead, question about new one.

So the Stinger SPV44 I've been using is 6-7 yrs old and has finally reached the point were it just can't hold a charge. So here is my question: Do I replace it with just another Stinger SPV44 or what about a Powermaster D1200 or S1200? (The D1200 seems like a step down from the SPV44, but I'm...

    Pick Sub

What are you looking for in these subs? Have you compared specs? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107MM1040/Polk-Audio-MM1040.html?tp=111&tab=features_and_specs http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SWR1022/Alpine-SWR-1022D.html?tp=111&tab=features_and_specs Let me tell you what I THINK. If...

Will I regret getting my system installed at Best Buy?

You know, this might be coming a little late, but I wouldn't get it installed at Best Buy. I'd actually take it back and tell them to uninstall it and give me a refund... J/K, but seriously, next time around, get a car audio specific place to do your installation.

    Pick Sub

Well, I'll tell you the Polk stuff would set you apart from everyone else to a degree just because not everyone runs around with it (mainly due to the price tag that comes along with Polk stuff). But thats not a good reason to choose something over the other. Either way, you won't go wrong...

    Question about Pre-Out voltage...

I've read good things about Audiocontrol and my local shop sells their stuff. I know Crutchfield (which is usually a little pricey, but not always) has the Overdrive for $120 and the Matrix for $200.

    Question about Pre-Out voltage...

I was looking at either the Audiocontrol Overdrive (in which case I would use it only for my subs where I think I need it most) or the Audiocontrol Matrix (in which case I could also hook up the amp that runs to my components). Matrix...

    Question about Pre-Out voltage...

x2, thats why I've been thinking about getting a line driver, possibly an Audiocontrol Overdrive. Technically I don't need it, but I want it.
