Nevermind. I went to the ignition and tested to find the ignition wire. Works like a charm!

Get a yellow top. They are deep cycle with a slow discharge rate, and will last much longer than a red top with the car off.

Thanks for the info guys. Forbidden, I have installed a couple already with no problems, just no manual trannys. I use the DEI 555U bypass, and have never had a problem. Thanks again guys

Good stuff Slody. Thank you. I didn't realize the clutch link cable is so easily disconnected. Theoretically, if I did that, it would be just like installing an automatic tranny remote start. Thanks!

Thanks guys. I just bought a crimestopper unit from Light AV, who I normally deal with. It is just a basic remote start, but he has the directions for the particular unit on a manual. It doesn't have to be nice, just has to start the car this winter. Plus, it was only $69 shipped brand new...

I think this is probably the smarter move. There would have to be a way to stick the bigger hard drive in. You will spend a lot of money in obtaining IP-Bus cabling, connections, software design, power supply, etc. I don't think you could build one unit for $100. I think you are talking well...

Everything being said by Squeak is dead on. The most true statement unfortunately is the one I have quoted above. Good luck with your tuning, and make sure you have sound deadening in place, you will NEED all of your sound to stay within your car to get the effect you are going for.
