Thank you for the insight. I looked at the HDX4 18s and it does look pretty good. I know a guy with 6 hdx3 12s on a salt 8k in a wall tuned to 35 and his **** bangs hard as ****, but its 6 subs. I'm wondering if the 2 hdx4 18s would slap lows hard like my current x15, but put up better numbers...

Im asking this because I was running sky high 8ga to my sub and 2 runs couldnt fully fit in the terminal. And I fucked a voice coil. Just put a recone in. Should I be running 10ga speaker wire? 12ga is what came with the sky high wiring kit. Oversized 1/0ga ofc.

Alright. So I have a sky high big 3 kit right now and I'll just not worry about that negative on the alt when i install. If I get some 0ga wire in the future, I can run that negative on the alt to the negative on the battery and make it a big 4?
