They didnt quite built it to fit right. might take it back and have them fix that. will it leak without the midgate? cuz water has never run in with my covers on. so im guessing if the midgate door isnt on there, itll leak thru there?

anyone have any ideas where I can get a Custom Midgate subwoofer box built for my avalanche. I Don't mind if the box would go into the bed some, as long as air runs thru and it latches on like the door.

im wanting to install 2 of those candence subswoofers, so would i need a bigger amp with more W. ill raise my budget to $2000 if that helps any.

well i dont mind buying some good used subs and amp so. those subs here though, are quite nice ZRS12-1000-2 - Cadence - 12" 2000W SVC 2 Ohm ZRS Series Subwoofer id say theyd fit pretty well in the midgate box
