X-15 in 3.67 NET tuned to 29.87 - Yay or nay?

I contacted Bob again and he says the XR-15 will be coming back within ~6 weeks with an entirely new basket design and even better soft parts. Apparently, they're going to also have a beefier surround. I'm just gonna play the waiting game for now. Haha

Wondering if it will still slam the lows as that's all I want anyway.

X-15 in 3.67 NET tuned to 29.87 - Yay or nay?

So, long story short. @CSCStang built me yet another bad A enclosure. Unfortunately, it was built for an American Bass XR-15. I could not find an XR-15 for sale, Bob says they're discontinued. No matter, WinISD and CSCStang says the XFL-15 would be fine in the enclosure. I got an...

CT Sounds T-1000.1 good for a friend or?

Fortunately, I can return it whenever needed. Looks like such a nice amp for the price. I'm assuming that CT sounds is going under completely or?

CT Sounds T-1000.1 good for a friend or?

I've seen some dyno runs of some of their amps. Not too shabby, but I was wanting to hear some input from the forums. We've got all the electrical to back it up, and the innards look great. This is the newer version that doesn't have the vibration problems. Also, does the bass knob with this...

    Alpine Type R 15" Smell

Depending on if you have a good enough electrical system, you probably are clipping. Brutus amps really don't like voltage drop, and cannot make a clean signal if they're not getting the juice they need. Regardless if it sounds good or not, it might even be a soft clip. If you have stock...

    American bass XR vs XFL

Those look like the XFL, there are no specs listed. Neat. I literally just now bought my XR.

    American bass XR vs XFL

I don't quite understand what you mean. I'm just not a fan of Sundown. No hate, I don't have any reason to tell people they ****, I just genuinely don't like them. I bought the AB XR 10 should be here shortly. I plan on giving it more power though.   ---------- Post added at 06:59 PM...

    American bass XR vs XFL

I personally like LOUD and decent sounding. People always taunted my SA-10 for sounding good, and yes it did sound good, but wasn't loud enough for my taste. I like a mix of being able to throw whatever clean amount of power you want to a sub, while maintaining a decent sound quality. The...

    American bass XR vs XFL

Niceeee. I had been thinking the XR was more SQ simply from the way it looks. Think it'll hit lows in a properly built t-line?

    American bass XR vs XFL

Just out of curiosity, what's the main difference between these bad boys? I bought the XR the other day, should be in the mail shortly. My friend has the XFL 12s (two of them) My SA-10 was louder in my T-line with some decent sound quality. (I believe I was pushing around 400-500 to the SA-10)...

American Bass XFL 15; biggest box I can fit

Well, the problem is I'm 6'4". I don't really think I want to do any other size. I've tried 8, 10, and 12s. I'm heading for a 15". I definitely don't want to buy another Sundown (trying every possible brand), but I want to keep my budget under $200 for the sub. So, as for the XFL 15". Give me...

American Bass XFL 15; biggest box I can fit

So 46 width would be perfect? It's going in a Ranger and that's about all the room I got. If it tells you how small my cab is, I can float papers and do small hairtricks with an SA-10 in a T-line because my cab is so small. :P

American Bass XFL 15; biggest box I can fit

Simple question, easy response. Would this enclosure work with an XFL 15"? I can't go any higher or have anymore depth. As far as the width goes, I can go up to 46.
