Im running active now. 50W RMS to mids and tweeters. But wanna get a bigger amp for the mids. Maybe in the region of 150W to 200W. Will it be alright to feed the mids 200W while the tweets 50W?

Does that mean if i set the gain correctly(according to the gain tutorial) ill be safe? Or will i need to turn them down a little? Will the huge current fry it if i play it loud?

Using the Dynaudio M100 tweeters. Will it do it any harm by feeding it 200W rms? Cheers Anders

I cross mine at about 4Khz. But if i mount it on the A Pillar, I can get them as the same distance as my mid from my listening position. And I am running them active. So i can T/A them accordingly if that helps.

I am using Dynaudio Tweets. Currently mounted like this: But thinking of mounting it on the A pillar instead. Which is the best position? Half way through the A pillar? Way down to the edge where the windscreen meets the dash? I rekon they should be facing each other and crossfiring...

No pics unfortunately. Screws are used to secure it to the wall. Screws are easier for taking off and securing.

All wood mate. All wood. Basically, just cut out a piece of wood that fits your amp snugly and tightly. Than screw the amp onto the board. Thats it. Finally carpet it. Board is screwed to the chasis and carpet of the boot. Pretty much done.

My exact sentiments. But is there any way to build a sub box out fo the well using MDF? Fiberglass materials are not readily available here. Aiks.

Thanks mate. Yeah got to agree on the lonely IDMax. I might just move it to the otherside though. But trying to save some bootspace as well. Or maybe build the sub on the otherside?

I was thinking of plexi to give it that crystal clean look? Or maybe not? Hmm.... a false board across the length of the boot to blend the sub? But ill need to use the boot once in a while. Or maybe 1/3 the length? Will it look good? The 860 is pretty good considering the price. Electronic...

Thanks mate. They sound just about right with T/A. The reflection actually got the sound to pinpoint at the centre. Which is quite good IMO. Just wondering how/what I should do to the amp rack on the side. Maybe a plexi over it? But not sure how. Any ideas anyone?
