haha i know.. it actually held up very well for the first week, i was looking for a sub to compete in street beat one with. i settled with 3 8w7s for now. want to get a powerbass 4xl but not sure how it will do if played on music..

i was pushing it with 6000rms. did a 147 out of a trunk. and the first two were defected.. call it what you want

you could always design the box so that your port is 12 feet from the kick, allowing your bass waves to fully open up. i think we both agree design is key to pretty much everything in audio

the give bigger woofers more airspace tho, if u gave that 8 the same airspace as the fifteen dont you think it would be just as low? cause manufacter boxes arent necisarily made to get the same low end results, but more efficiency. do you agree? i can see where your coming from tho n dont think...

three 8w7s in a big old box w 2 kinetik 1400s 2 runs of 0 gauge tuned around 48 hertz facing back w 2 4inch aero ports.. powered by a planet audio apocolypse. normally run street beat 1. metered on the floor. u can check out my score on usaci, wasnt my best run but oh well..

dont you think that mostly depends on what the box is tuned to..

my three 8s do a 145 in the trunk....

what we did was connect the box directly to the cab and the topper is set over it all just as a cover
