check the connectors on the box. i had the same problem and i actually fried them. the amp and subs were fine i just pulled it out and wired the subs strait to the amp without the contacts for the box. i have a little hole in the box now but its better than not having bass.

i just got rid of an avic n3 for a dnx 6160 and its supposed to be better. probably putting it in wed. if you want to go crazy you gotta pay for it. im and mtx guy myself and i wouldnt trade my thunder 9500s for anything except maybe some jackhammers. is the back open like the fox body stangs...

you dont have to spend 400 on an alt. find a local rebuild shop and have them do it wayyyy cheaper. my stock was 105 and i got mine rebuilt to 180 for $135 they replace almost everything and its wayyy cheaper

well that was definatly the problem but now the line level is pushing bass through my evs and my subs are not picking up any really low bass so it sounds like ****. i guess i need a new deck any suggestions. i was thinking an AVIC D3. somthing double din. the flip out is getting kind of old.

yea the guy said the deck outs were fried. the kid touched 1 of the wires going to a 15 in ev while everything else was playing to try and plug it in so idk wtf he touched but i think it burned the outs on the deck. im hoping that the line level is going to fix it.
