I used to run the 600.1 (which is a smaller version of the 1200.1) to a pair of type r's and it was awesome. I got it very cheap and never had problems with it. In fact it was my first install and i wired my 2 2ohm subs at a .5 load and it handled that load for 4 months until i left my back...

Alpine makes great amps but are a lil overpriced. Not way overpriced tho... good clean power that puts out what its rated at. My old md300 was great.

i have a pair of alpine type r 12's and everyone talks about the great sq they have but i only have 300 watts goin to each in sealed enclosures and they are very loud in my blazer. Not ungodly loud.... but loud nonetheless. Loud enough for me ne ways

I really like your setup until u get to the bass. For just a lil more money u could have bought a type s or a type r tho type e's really dont sound that bad just dont get too loud. But it seems u didnt want real loud bass ne ways so for you your setup is perfect. Who cares what everyone else...

Is it 600 for the pair? Cuz if it is and they are in good shape then it sounds like an ok deal to me. Dont the w7 sell for 600 or more a peice? Someone correct me if im wrong

4 cf would be perfect for those 4 subs. Also have seperate chambers for each sub. 1 foot for each sub with 1200 to 1500 watts all together. Ur system will wang hard core and sound good doing it too.

I think a 400.1 would be enough to power both of those subs quite well at a 2 ohm load.
