i bought a JBL BP600.1 recently and I blew it up in like 3 weeks and I sent it back and they sent me a new one in 1 week turn around. They ship fast and their service is fast. how did i blow it up? i dont know...i think the chip inside died and the amp got hot.

Okay guys, JBL BP600.1 amp uses a "circular" type connector for the POWER, and GROUND. I used to have a sony amp and they allowed this U-shaped clamp thingy from your power and ground wire. Does anyone know where I can buy this circular solid connector for ground/power wire for 4 guages...

How do you tell if a capacitor is fully charged or not? I have a PowerAmper Xpower 1.0 farad digital LED capacitor and I just installed it onto my car today. but how do i know if the capacitor is fully charged or about how long does it take for it to charge up / discharge? thanks!

i think you need an amplifier cuz you need to send the signal to a subwoofer to play the note or tone. A battery, will send energy this is why you might need an amplifier for subs. hooking up a sub to a battery, i dont know it that does anything but i'm certain it won't play anything.
