I’m soon to buy the focal es 165 kx3e speaker set. I currently have a pioneer GM-D8704 amp to power them. I understand that the crossover they come with can bi amp but what does that mean also should I save for a DSP amp as well?

Bi-amp means you can power the mid bass and mid/tweeter separately. DSP can/will make a big difference. Since you got some pretty highend speakers, I'd suggest investing DSP to get the most out of them.

Ahhh i understand, so the bi amp-only has nothing to do with the passive crossovers but each speaker goes back to an amp and gets tuned properly. Alright I’ll get saving, thank you.
