Hello all-

I have a 2019 charger Hellcat. I’ll be running 4k watts RMS to my subs but I need suggestions on mid bass and highs. I bought extra door panels so a custom install is not out of the question. What wattage range am I looking at to keep up with the 4k watts? Mid bass is important to me, but I would like to be able to hear the music as well. I listen to metal with lots of bass drops and rap. Recommend brands, the number of mids, highs, tweets and wattage I’m looking at. I have no problem adding a second alternator and a second battery. I already have 1 xs3400 d battery.

Install planning and deadening count far more than nuthugging brands. Similar to Expensive subs in a poor enclosure you'll never get great sound unless done right. A 3-way frontstage is attainable easily with even mid-low tier HU's and going forward its all going to be staging and tuning. I've made knuckle-dragging basshead installs sound reasonably accurate before with a little time spent tuning. Yet goals should be reasonable, don't expect a 155db grounpounder system whilst taking Iasca Sq trophies home.

What actually do you envision this being? A groundpounder, sql or sq build? Your question, as posed could make replies tend to subjective interpretation.

I would say leaning more towards the sql, but I still want to feel the vibration travel. If that makes sense? I'm not competing in any events and don't want to break any records. This is for personal enjoyment.
