So because the investigation occurred during the Bush administration, BidenCo is unaware if Trump is implicated? Give me a break.1. It was investigated under Bush and Trump administrations, not Biden.
2. It was very clearly stated that a list existed and would be released, then suddenly "There is no list"
"In a March TV interview, she claimed the Biden administration “sat on these documents, no one did anything with them,” adding: “Sadly these people don’t believe in transparency, but I think more unfortunately, I think a lot of them don’t believe in honesty.
But after a months-long review of evidence in the government’s possession, the Justice Department determined that no “further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted,” the memo says."
And what they DID "release" was info that was already in public domain.![]()
Epstein client list doesn't exist, DOJ says, walking back theory Bondi promoted
The Justice Department will not release more files related to the wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein's *** trafficking investigation despite promises from Attorney General Pam Bondi.www.pbs.org
3. Trump is doing what he can to overshadow it, even suddenly publicly complaining that people should stop talking about it. He just desperately wants it to go away.
Now, it's "let's arrest Obama" (ranked among the best POTUSes in history, while Trump is ranked among the worst, and sometimes worst), or complain about the name of a football team, or accuse Harris of violating FEC rules (which Trump actually DID and was investigated for), using sugar in soda, or claiming Epstein was a hoax (his favorite word, that he doesn't seem to know the meaning of): "I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!"
If it's all truly a hoax and Trump is 100% innocent, there is no reason to keep the files hidden after so openly promising they would be released.
Smoke, meet fire.
There is plenty of reason to keep it private. As long as "the list" is kept private it has value as a blackmail list. Once the list is released, it loses it's value and actually becomes a liability. But that logic does fit the Orange Man bad narrative and therefore must be rejected by Team Blue.
