It's crazy to think that we will refuse to restrict voting to US Citizens. What I have to question is how does requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote "disenfranchise millions of eligible voters?" In my lifetime, I've had to provide proof of citizenship to get a passport, SO I COULD LEAVE THE COUNTRY. I had to provide proof of citizenship for numerous loans that I've taken out, not to mention all the times my clients had to provide proof of citizenship to me to take out loans. I've had to provide proof of citizenship for numerous jobs both private sector and gov't jobs. I had to provide proof of citizenship to join the USMC. But when it comes to voting, suddenly proving citizenship isn't important, but more importantly it might "disenfranchise millions of eligible voters?"

The scary thing is if requiring proof of citizenship to vote "disenfranchises millions," then who is to say the same doesn't apply to student loans, mortgages, jobs, military service, etc, etc, etc. It's like the left literally wants to dissolve America from within. Insane.

Looks like you didn't bother reading the very post you just responded to. We can return jobs to the US in any number of ways. Trump could go with 10,000% tariff on all foreign made Nike gear and they'd have to return manufacturing to the US.

My point has nothing to do with the courts restricting Trump’s EO. We as a nation, do not require citizenship to vote and will not moving forward. That is insane. I assume a few red states may step up and require citizenship, but for the most part citizenship won't be a requirement

Additionally, the court shouldn't have even heard the case if the basis of the case was "millions of voter will be disenfranchised." Furthermore, we've already seen that the left clearly thinks non-citizens should be able vote. As I said the left is literally attempting to dissolve America from within. Of course, I'm not surprised the TDS left would celebrate this as some victory over tyranny than see actual problem with not requiring citizenship to vote.

The left & dem party are so lost, they can no longer be trusted in slightest with leadership in this nation even at the non-federal level.

Therein lies the rub. The COTUS.
There are people who think it's insane that the COTUS allows for anyone to have a gun. They want to change that.
Do we just change the COTUS for whatever any group desires?

When it comes to a POTUS trying to exert power that the POTUS is not ALLOWED to exert, then who do you think should step in, if not the courts?

He is the President. The only thing I need to do is respect that and to understand that he has a job to do. Actually, we knew prior to voting for him that Trump would exert maximum power via executive orders and fully expected him to experience loses in court.

Hopefully, this goes to the USSC and gets overturned. We have a judge telling the executive it cannot enforce existing laws. That's pure insanity. Apparently, the lefties think yet another law needs to passed to ensure non-citizens aren't voting in federal elections or more likely, the loonie left wants non-citizens voting in federal elections. Why the left wants to destroy the country from within is beyond me.
