Current events discussion

It is scary to see these thoughts that come out of your head. I made no suggestions. It is not my theory. You may be schizophrenic.
More than once you have told to me to stop believing history, evidence, facts. Something about how you "ask questions" and "think outside the box" instead of accepting proved facts.
He is the President. The only thing I need to do is respect that and to understand that he has a job to do. I do not need to be a piss ant little shit and scrutinize every little move, every little decision that he makes. If I don't like the way his term goes, I do my scrutinizing at the voting booth. Maybe one day you will be adult enough to understand that yourself.
When he puts himself in a position to have every move scrutinized, then it's going to happen. If it makes him or his sycophants sad, then maybe he shouldn't be a dumbass and put himself in that position to begin with.

You do your scrutinixing at the voting booth? Do the voting booths in N.C. post all of the info about each candidate, or do they have internet browsers in them, so you can learn?
Ours only give you the name and party stats. Hard to do much scrutinizing with just that info.
I never suggested that. Also, we are talking about tin.
Tin foil is aluminum. Has been since WWII. Welcome to 2025.
Again... show us your stupidity.
I'm not the one who thinks an oxidized aluminum hat would look better than polished and shiny.
Is this a sweet rim in your neck of the woods?

Called the right wing because we are always right.
Cool. Show me an invoice where China got billed and paid the import tariff on goods arriving in a US port.
Show me how the cost of living fell since Trump took office.

Just two requests. There are plenty more.

I have said to think for yourself. Think outside of the box. Not to blindly accept what you are told by ANYONE as fact.

For some reason you make it your job to scrutinize? Why? Can you do a better job as POTUS?

What?
Tin foil is aluminum. Has been since WWII. Welcome to 2025.
Wrong. Tin, atomic number 50. Aluminum, atomic number 13. Not the same metal at all. Welcome to scientific fact.

Here is a rather factual and accurate explanation from the pages of Wiki.

"Tin foil, also spelled tinfoil, is a thin foil made of tin. Tin foil was superseded after World War II by cheaper and more durable[1] aluminium foil, which is still referred to as "tin foil" in many regions (an example of a misnomer)."

You are losing brain cells by the day.

I don't answer questions from the left.

So, you don't accept the Constitution as fact? Federal Regulation? State statute? Economic stats that are 10, 20, 50 years old? Don't accept Rockford's amp specs when you buy their product?
Do you accept the octane rating on the gas you buy, or do you test it at the pump? Do you accep the weight on the box of Cheerios you buy, or do you bring a scale to the store?

What things do you accept as truth, what things do you prove for yourself?

For some reason you make it your job to scrutinize? Why? Can you do a better job as POTUS?
Who said it's my job? Is it your job to blindly believe all that Trump says, and defend him whenever a truth is spoken that shows what garbage he is?
You said you do your scrutinizing at the voting booth. Did you forget?
I was asking how you do your scrutinizing there, when pretty much all they offer is name and party of the candidate.
scrutinize - examine or inspect closely and thoroughly.

I guess you have lost all of yours, becasue you COMPLETELY failed to notice a very important line that confirms what I posted: "is still referred to as "tin foil" in many regions"
I'll admit I get a chuckle every time you post a proof that proves you wrong.
I don't answer questions from the left.
So as usual, you can't prove your claims.
You are consistent in your inability.

Why would I do that when I am suggesting that YOU don't just blindly take peoples words as fact. Come on, just try to be a lil smart.

I do... I scrutinize my choices. Was that not clear? You seem to have no problem telling me I infer stuff but this made no sense to you??

To which was followed with "an example of a misnomer" Misnomer being -
This means, just because dumb ***** say it, doesn't make it correct. You should also know that now that it supports your argument you are ok with using different language to describe something. Weird how when we argue with you about outputs you fight us tooth and nail. Hypocrite.

noun - Misnomer

  1. a misapplied or inappropriate name or designation.
  2. an error in naming a person or thing.
So as usual, you can't prove your claims.
You are consistent in your inability.
