"Assumed"? I "assumed" you were talking Angus when YOU posted a picture of Angus beef so you could complain about the increased prices?

THIS picture:View attachment 63631

Or was it the frog on your pocket, or you alter ego that posted it?
Here is the problem yet again... none of this shit matters. You think because someone misspoke or it slipped someones mind that you deserve some kind of recognition for being able to use the search button. This is why you say the same arguments over and over... so you can suddenly remember exactly what someone said and throw it in their face. It means NOTHING except you are an ******* who has to boost his own ego. Like I said, you are pathetic.

And how does future spending explain our prior deficits? The fact that the deficits have risen higher under republican presidents (typically coinciding with tax cuts.....when not the result of things like covid or the housing bubble).
Ignore the projected spending; theoretically, Trump is going to reduce future spending. If you're looking for some biased narrative about how the DNC is responsible for spending, the GOP is the party of fiscal responsibility, etc, then you've come to the wrong place.

Do you think an expensive cold war and then an expensive hot wars may have contributed to the deficit spending under the last 3 GOP administrations? I don't know if the historical budget charts are still on the WH website, but under Reagan and Bush v2 domestic spending increased substantially. If you want to look up historical budget charts, the in-depth data is there. If you want to track the data, you'll actually find that domestic spending increases as control of Congress swings to the GOP. IIRC, I tracked that pattern back ~30 years and that was ~20 years ago, so maybe a 50 year pattern of the GOP being the ones who truly ratchet up spending.

The GOP clearly hasn't been fiscally responsible in my lifetime. Additionally, I'd say that the popular narrative of Reagan's economic policy is he was a "supply sider" like conservatives invented some new form of economics. In reality, I'd say Reagan's economic policy is actually Keynesian in nature - use tax cuts and deficit spending to get out of a recession. The GOP/Conservatives are fond of focusing on the tax cuts and ignore the massive spending increases. Bush v2 also inherited a faltering economy after the dotcom bust and again we see the Keynesian solution of cut taxes and increase spending. And although you don't want to count it, Obama did the same thing and cranked up spending and cut taxes when faced with the housing bubble. Obama's spending vs revenue gap is worse than Reagan's and Reagan was horrendous, so let's not dump this all on the GOP. Clinton by in large benefited from the tech boom and the ability to reduce military spending with the fall of the Soviet Union. The housing boom started toward the end of Clinton's run and helped offset the impact of the dotcom bubble.

Ok, so Trump is planning to reduce future spending. Problem is that even if he continues to hack away at public programs and grants, as well at government institutions, he's still not reducing the deficit AT ALL due to the tax cuts he's proposed. In the end, he's doing away with a bunch of benefits that average Americans rely on so that the few at the top benefit. And increasing the deficit further while he's at it. I just don't see how anyone can claim that this guy is fighting for Americans (which is even more absurd considering his long history of scamming average Americans) when he's pretty clearly duping the majority for the benefit of the people who need the least assistance.

But yes.....both parties have been responsible for the deficit. Neither wants to touch it in a major way and have mostly just kicked the can down the road.

Oh yeah lol because that is better beef. Then you assumed a lesser beef. Either way, YOU made the assumption.
I "made the assumption" when the advert is FOR ANGUS BEEF?

You didn't actually MEAN Angus, you just POSTED Angus?

And you have the nerve to complain that people don't understand WTF you are talking about.
YOU don't even know what you're talking about, nor can you remember what you posted.

If you don't want your own words to bite you in the *** at a later time, maybe choose your own words more carefully.

And, the search button doesn't create posts to help me. I simply remember those posts, then use search to get to them and quote them.

Have you used a search function to find proof that bones do not have nerves in them? Since you're 10,000% positive that that is a fact, maybe you should use the search function so you can share a proof here…

You don't know what the effects of tax cuts will be. For example, GATT and NAFTA under Clinton were in essence giant corporate tax cuts and the economy boomed as did tax revenue. Looking at future projections, wouldn't the deficit staying the same (as a percentage of GDP) be a vast improvement? Ideally, if jobs are brought back to America, then the tax cuts could be invested into job creation and economic growth. If the money is spent then again that creates economic activity and jobs. Unfortunately, that money could get dumped into crypto and gold and in essence be removed from the economy. One thing is for sure, the narrative that spending cuts just go to line the pockets of the wealthy is a false narrative as we rare reduce spending.

I'd really like to see a balanced budget amendment to the constitution...it'll never happen but it'd be the only way to quit all the borrow and spend nonsense

So this is all hyperbole, right?
No tariffs are actually going to happen, and our cost of living will drop from 21 January 2025 and on.

Asking for a friend.

It really makes no difference Rob.
If you don't want your own words to bite you in the *** at a later time, maybe choose your own words more carefully.
I'm good. I don't care if some faceless punk on the internet thinks him telling me my words bite me in the *** has any affect on my life... at all.
And, the search button doesn't create posts to help me. I simply remember those posts, then use search to get to them and quote them.
Right... you forget, demand that people repeat themselves over and over until one of the responses is different then you suddenly remember EVERY post made about it and start your bs about how they can't get their own words right and they bite them in the *** and how you blow cows in the field at night for milk.
Have you used a search function to find proof that bones do not have nerves in them? Since you're 10,000% positive that that is a fact, maybe you should use the search function so you can share a proof here…
Compact bone. No Nerves. 100% sure.

It really makes no difference Rob.
Everything becomes irrelevant when you get proved wrong.
Funny how that works, huh?

And yet here you are, whining about it in a thread you constantly complain about being in.

Male vows give milk?
Interesting.

"Bones". Don't try to alter the claim in order to not be wrong.

Does that help your narrative?

Show me one complaint I have made about myself being in this thread and I will pay for your next happy ending.

Interesting.
Like wedding vows? Huh?
"Bones". Don't try to alter the claim in order to not be wrong.
I have never altered my facts nor have you ask for which bone specifically. It's not my fault that in your mad dash to have a gotcha moment you forgot to ask for specifics. I would have gladly obliged. There are several types of bone Rob. Can we be done with the bone discussion now? In a weird twist I actually re-broke that same finger this last Friday. Just a crack this time though.

Stop. Miss me with the trickle down bullshit. Companies don't start employing more people and ramping up supply for demand that doesn't exist. It's basic economic fallacy. Demand drives growth. If Trump truly wanted to grow the economy.....tax cuts would be directed toward consumers who SPEND. But that wasn't the goal. Never has been.
