The mere fact that they have given themselves access to the data while they were not hired, appointed, contracted, working for an affiliated provider, etc, is a violation of the Act, along with multiple other laws I mentioned.

That's not a violation of HIPPA. That's just whining from the left. Just because you claim it's a violation of HIPPA doesn't make it so. Just because somebody has access doesn't mean they're violating HIPPA. Do you understand Hippa or are you just parroting Joy Reid or some other bent out of shape leftie???

So reading Rob's lengthy post about Hippa violations, he has absolutely no evidence HIPPA violations. Do we know if the DOGE's are leaving their computer screens on or unlocked so that somebody else can gain unauthorized access? Assuming they're looking at medical codes, it sure seems like Trump has granted that access. Any evidence these guys haven't been given Hippa training? Just a bunch of accusations because of TDS and fear that government spending will finally cut.

We are so wasteful with our spending, but the dems don't want anybody to do a thing about it.

Sorry, but it actually IS a violation of HIPAA. That's how the law works.
When an unauthorized person gains access, it's a violation of the law.
When an authorized person allows other to gain access, it's a violation of the law.

ACCESS is a key word. And words can be VERY important when it comes to the law.
PHI has to be secured to be HIPAA compliant. Even if someone doesn't VIEW the data on my laptop, a HIPAA violation has occurred if they CAN.

Lemme ask you this: A nurse leaves your patient records in the "reading room" at the end of a hospital hallway by mistake. No one picks it up and reads it, though 5 members of the public have passed through that room.

We know they have not been authorized to have access to the info.
Just like Trump can't "think" classified documents into a non-classified status, he doesn't just get to declare that Musk and his cronies are are suddenly authorized to access the systems where that info resides.

Evidence of them not being trained in HIPAA? That's the horse before the cart.
What evidence is there that they WERE trained, especially when the people who would be in charge of that are actually fighting to prevent DOGE from having access?
Simple logic says they were not.

But you know an awful lot about how DOGE should be doing what they are doing. How many forensic accounting analysts are on Musks team?
When did they get the data security training they are required to have?
Who provided the training?
Have you seen verification of it?

You would think a billionaire setting aside his business interests to help the US Gov't operate more efficiently would be cheered, appreciated, etc. Not if you're a liberal.

According to WashPo, the POTUS can grant or revoke anybody's security clearance, so it's safe to say these guys have any security clearances necessary.

"Accusations". We KNOW these people did not have access or data privacy training in the Treasury Department before.
You are now claiming they do, without any proof to back the claim, and with the evidence being against it (the evidence being that the people who would get them the training and clearance are the ones saying they shouldn't be accessing the systems).

It is far from an "accusation" to ask you to prove it.
