OK, I’ve been going on with this issue for about a year now I wanted to give it another try.
We purchased a Linux head unit for a 2012 Audi S4 multi media-installation was rather easy, however after installation and when you go to play music via Bluetooth music plays on the speakers, except the driver side speakers are all much louder than the passenger side and the only way to fix this is going into the original factory MMI and putting the balance pretty significantly to the passenger side . On this car, it has an AMI port in the glove box and it’s plugged in. I’ve looked at all the wiring and connections and feel everything looks good. Screen works great no issues, backup cam works, maps, ect. The sound just isnt as crisp connected to the head unit?
The odd thing is when you go to your factory radio all the speakers play very well, balanced, and loud. I’ve tried dealing with the place in China for troubleshooting and I’ve done a lot of troubleshooting with them. I’m not sure if I’ve missed a setting in the head unit, but I felt like I’ve tried so much. My vehicle has the premium Sound system with the three speakers on the dashboard. There has been times as well you hear a loud high pitched frequency type noise out of the dash speaker. But this doesn’t always happen.
I just want all my speakers to work like in radio and balanced. Any ideas? Could it be a bad wiring harness?
