But Slapper just said it had nothing to do with the fires.

This feels like Thx and Slapper having completely different beliefs about what happens to Trump's ear, yet both arguing that I am wrong about it.
Slapper said what has nothing to do with the fires? Trump's rhetoric?

As for Thx & Slapper having different beliefs and yet also disagreeing with you suggests that there cannot be 3 positions to a story. However, there is almost always 3 sides to the story - your side, my side and the truth.

None of those things are red meat for the dem base...why bother with something that doesn't polarize voters 🤣
They're already on the "climate change" narrative regarding these fires. Unfortunately for the Blues, we're aware of how the idiot liberals in a fire & drought prone state didn't prepare for fires or store water.

I'm sure the firefighters will be happy to know how much they **** at their job. Because in the end, it's their fault for not putting them out. Right?

The simple video clip at the lead of this page makes me glad I'm not there, and certainly not a firefighter in the thick of it. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/california-wildfires-technology-war.html

Think about a local crew in your town putting out a fully involved house fire on a "normal" day. One three-story house with a foot print of 40x50. How many trucks, how many firefighters?
In CA they are dealing with 200,000 acres burned, and 27,000 currently burning.

Holy shit. If that were a square, it would be 164x164 acres, or 6 miles by 6 MILES currently burning.
A 36 square mile involved fire with hurricane force winds.
**** no.

Did you read what I posted: "A STATE that's prone to wildfires and droughts didn't prepare for fires or store water."

Since when are frontline firefighters responsible for things like water storage, brush clearing, controlled burns, etc? Unless the frontline firefighters were refusing to do controlled burns, this stuff is out of their hands, much like it isn't their fault there is no water to fight the fires with. There is a reason Trump is calling out Gov Newsom and not Joe Fireman.

State Farm saw this coming from a mile away and cancelled Homeowner's Policies, but Cali's elected officials decided to ignore the problem and now the citizens of California are paying the price.
