Current events discussion

And it would've been more had the Supreme Court not stepped in...
I don't see where anyone was forced to be vaccinated.
Can you provide any type of proof or evidence of anyone being forced to be vaccinated?
I remember Jimi having this discussion in the past, and no proof of a single "forced vaccination" ever being proffered.
But you were ok with all mandates including vaccination or forcing people to wear masks (government telling people what to with their bodies)...
Can you provide an example of someone who was forced to wear a mask?
Just a single one would be fine.
You're doing nothing but virtue signaling with the argument of government intervention qith women's bodies...if you weren't you'd have been whole hog against most of the covid mandates and restrictions...but you're a hypocrite plain and simple...
Nice try at deciding for me what I am doing.
You're equating a vaccine requirement for a job with denying a woman the right to abort a ***** from within her own body, ergo FORCING her to continue to carry the *****.
Now, again, show me ONE instance of a FORCED vaccination.
I'll wait,
There's even restrictions nationwide as to where and how much you can drink...also where you can be intoxicated...again that's controlling what people can do with their bodies...
Incorrect. You can drink all you want or be intoxicated where you want. You may face consequences for it, but no one is FORCING you to not take another sip or twelve, or not to drink in your car while driving down the highway, or show up at the movie theater drunk and start singing at the top of your lungs.

Don't confuse bad consequences of bad actions with being "forced" to not do them.

And I'd call it a lie except every politician makes similar claims although in reality the biggest tax cut, biggest spending increase, biggest spending cut, biggest GDP growth or biggest anything else is actually more a function of inflation vs policy. I highly suspect that politicians won't spend 10 minutes explaining that "the biggest tax cut" was based on inflation adjusted dollars from the FY '23 to FY '24 for a family of 4 making median income, but would be a smaller tax cut based on percentage of GDP and that overall tax revenues increased so you might hear the opposition party claiming that I raised taxes. In addition, corporate tax rates went up, so while you may have paid less in income taxes, you may have paid more for the cost of goods due to inflation. What you're requesting is more of something that should be covered in media, but the media will only cover things like this in a manner that fits the "We're good, they're bad" narrative.
Except it's not a single "white lie" when he repeats it 500 times. There are people who believe what he says simply because he is the one saying it. Joe Citizen believing the claim that Trump provided better tax cuts that ANY president in history may allow that belief (and a belief in the MANY other lies) to not only sway their vote, but ENCOURAGE them to vote for "better" or "best". Except "better" or "best" is a lie.
Best economy in history.
Best tax cuts in history.
Best border wall.
Best F-35 build contract.
Best border security.

His followers believe the lies, and even repeat them happily to anyone who will listen. Some will even argue that they are truths, in spite of all proof otherwise.
And when more Republicans/Conservatives are likely to believe a falsehood, it creates a situation where the best liar wins.

Trump tries to lip-lock a child. Far from the only one.

If the bar is set at "no repeating white lies," then the disqualifies not only every person currently in politics but every citizen in the country. Of course I knew that the biggest tax cuts in history was in terms of whole unadjusted dollars, so it's not even a white lie; the statement just lacks context. If people are willing to consume/accept information based on it fits their preferred narrative, there is nothing you or I can do about it. Biden has been in office since 1972, where is his lie counter? Does anybody think a career politician's lie counter might exceed Trump's?

Being forced to comply or be excluded. WTF do you call being forced... the physical act alone isn't the only way to force someone.

Yeah alot of that is attributed to the drastic drop in cancer rates during covid due to reduced testing (IOW the cancer was there but didn't get tested for). Then of course the nature of cancer creates this big spike coming out of Covid and so-called "turbo cancers." I suspect the cancer rates will return to "normal" in the next few years.
I don't, because they're also coming out with anti cancer vaccines. Wouldn't surprise me if they put cancer making shit in covid vaccines or other things like has been with other products so they can increase cancer to make people need anti cancer vaccine. They want you dependent on them to stay alive at all, big pharma, biotech industry.

Just like congress concluded covid came from lab. Problem, reaction, solution. They made Covid to force experimental shots on people, many things, ruin world economy to set stage for ww3.

Does anyone think Trump is really going to let all the Kennedy stuff out for the public?
Idk how he could, seems like what's in there, if truly and fully released, that might cause civil war or something. It could open a door people could see all the way through time, like jfk being taken out and the takeover since. I think jfk assassination very well could be linked to operation paperclip, OSS into CIA.

Good question. Where IS his lie counter? Could the lack of one indicate that he hasn't told anywhere NEAR the insane number that Trump has told?
Or maybe one exists for Trump simply BECAUSE of the sheer volume he has told, beyond what we've ever seen from a sitting POTUS?

Why would the left judge their own. He's part of the team... no need to call Biden out, right?

Yes, REGISTERED. Tell me, what is YOUR dataset for determining the quantity of voters per party other than those who are registered to a party?
Do you call everyone of voting age in the country and ask them their political leanings? Do you personally decide what the numbers COULD be, and consider that to be the actual number? Do you take a poll at work and consider that to be the "true" dataset? Do you poll every farmer, and then decide the majority of the country is republican?

Other than the number of people registered to a party, how do YOU determine the number of Democrats vs. the number of Republicans?

That person would be Trump, since he fits the description, and he is the "best" the party could come up with.

I attribute it to a false sense of security and complacency. The studies are also saying a whole bunch of people in a specific group didn't vote, but I haven't seen that verified yet.
False sense of security or the fact they remember how much better life was when he was in office last time. Say and believe what you want. Majority of the people know Trump will do a better job than Kamala. She had her chance and failed.

Many dems didn't vote because of the lies they heard about Trump and how they know Kamala is full of crap.

I'm afraid it was decided in court. So it's not a "false accusation". You know that whole "innocent until proved guilty" thing? Yeah. It was proved.
Trump was never convicted as a ******. All those business claims were all bogus, and anyone who knows about obtaining business loans can see that. If what he did was wrong, why did the banks agree with him and not the judge?

30,000 DOCUMENTED lies during his 4-year term. That's pathological, as in "extreme in a way that is not normal or that shows an illness or mental problem."
Compile a list of 1/100 of that amount of lies for Biden, and share it here. Then, we can compare notes.
Racist: Yeah, he had to settle a suit for denying people the ability to rent properties based on the color of their skin. Housing discrimination. He was also fined $200,000 by the NJ Casino Commission for not allowing black employees on the casino floor while he was there.
The epitome of racism
Did you not know ANY of these things about Trump?
Look them up and learn.
Show me the "squirrel" in the FACTS above.
Again, you're being a liberal tool by spewing the lies from the left. Research what was said and put many of those accusations back into the proper context. Did Trump tell lies? Yes, but not to the level you are preaching.

For example, read the real story behind the blacks being on the casino floor. After you read the true story, I expect you to come back and post your apology.
You mean like the Repubs telling a woman what she can or cannot do with her own body?
Or telling people that their non-Catholic children must read the Bible to be indoctrinated in public school?
Yeah, no "meddling" there. Just good Catholic values, right? 🙄
By the way, many libs are against abortion, as well. Almost the same as republicans. Look it up. You think that only republicans are spiritual?

We already established that the whole "My Body, My Choice" thing is a extremely immature thing to say. Nobody has that right. So, if I jump in a boxing ring and the boxer hits me, I have a right to kill them? I just got in the ring because I wanted the prize money. I didn't want to disfigure my body.

Nobody is forcing kids to read the bible to attend a public school, and nobody is pushing for it. Besides, making a kid read a bible is better than telling a kid they need puberty blockers and a *** change in order to be happy.

No. I was denying that Buck DIED and came back to life. Flatlining is not dying. Flatlining means your heart stops. It happens all the time, by illness, by accident, by medical intent, and they get restarted. It's literally commonplace to the point of most large spaces (office buildings, stores, malls) having an AED on each floor for the inevitable heart attack victim, and they do it in surgeries every day.

"Dead" means your brain has ceased all electrical activity. There is no coming back from that one. Buck stated he died and was brought back to life, I believe following some interstellar trip he took (though I may be conflating some of his many fantasies).
I called bullshit on the "rising from the dead" story.
This is an unsolved medical argument. This is why a person can only be deemed dead by silenced medical doctor. Most doctors will say it's when the heart stops beating. Others will say when there is no brain function.

However, Rob has no brain functions, but he's still considered to be alive. LOL.... :ROFLMAO:

Allowing kids to get puberty blockers and a *** change...? Soooo... f'ing stupid. I can hear your conversations right now.

Child: Dad, I want to stay up late.
Dad: No, you have school, and you will end up regretting not sleeping due to being so tired.
Child: Dad, Can I eat ice cream for breakfast?
Dad: No, it's not good for health and you may regret it.
Child: When will I be able to make my own choices and do what I want:
Dad: When you understand life better and become an adult.
Child: Dad, I want to get permanently alter my body, take puberty blocker and meds for the rest of my life, and become a girl.
Dad: That's the most beautiful thing you have ever said to me. I will make the appointment right away.

Seriously, only a child would sit there and actually count lies. That is just so childish. What's next, the libs running and saying "My daddy's bigger than yours!" I bet you had a swear jar in your house when you were a kid.

Again... seriously think about what you are saying about counting someone's lies

  • Did Biden's son really die in Iraq?
  • Did Biden really go millions of miles on a train to get to work?
  • Did Biden really walk with Marten Luther King?

But Trump is a racist, right? Why did before he ran as a republican, why did Opera encourage Trump to run for President?
