The point of the tariff is to lower the demand of a good or goods from specific country...and most consumers change their spending habits as prices increase...whether it's not buying said good or goods or finding other finding products manufactured elsewhere to purchase...

so now that the Chinese e bike is more expensive...maybe one from Japan or US made are more attractive...or you just decide not to buy an e bike...

You think you are some kind of special person who gets to bypass all the people involved with bringing foreign goods into the country?

As for tariffs, Trump put higher tariffs on China and Biden kept the tariffs. If they were bad, then why not remove them?

PACKING the court is adding judges to tilt the total in one's favor.
Stacking the court is making it partisan in one's favor so that the majority will rule as you want them to. Roe v wade was an example of a stacked court giving a decision the minority has wanted for years.
