The Pioneer units always have the model number located in one of the corners while "Pioneer" is printed in the middle of the top or bottom rim. This might me a China knock-off. The only way to know is to pull it out and read the sticker on the top of the case.
I’m a Zappa fan.
It is possible, but I have haven't seen a stock radio display the radio's actual manufacturer before.Maybe it is a "stock" pioneer double din.. thus the lack of a model number on the faceplate?
Understood, thank you.Without a model number on the face somewhere...You're more than likely gonna have to pull it to get the model

deez, it’s a 1996 Chevy suburban. I REALLY want the stock radio, haha!Oh ok, Phew..
You sure the unit in question is not a stock unit that came in the car and not an aftermarket one?
What kind of vehicle we talking?
It's definitely not a stock radio. Indash screens did not come in any vehicles until the early 2000's. Once you get the know this radio, you'll love it a lot more than the stock unit.Understood, thank you.

Look for the manual for the DMH 100 BT, to see if it works.

Yeah I would have done this before anything else, lol.I'd just pull it and look![]()
First thing tomorrow morning I pull this stupid thing out and hopefully replace it with the unit out of my ‘97 parts car.
