Featured Pioneer mystery

Hi folks,
New guy here. I recently purchased a new used vehicle and it came with a Pioneer stereo unit that is a mystery to me. I would like to use it but I have no idea how to program it. There is no manual and no obvious model number so I didn’t know what to do until I found this group. I am hoping someone here can at least identify the model so I can locate the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Uncle Meat

grab a flashlight and see if there is a model number printed on the unit somewhere and check the setup menus it might say then google the model number and read the manual

Look at the AVH-W4500NEX.

Thanks staan, I looked but nothing visible outside the dash. I’m lost with the set up menus, I’m best with two dials.

The Pioneer units always have the model number located in one of the corners while "Pioneer" is printed in the middle of the top or bottom rim. This might me a China knock-off. The only way to know is to pull it out and read the sticker on the top of the case.

Aha, I will look closer. I realize if I pull it out there will be some identifier, I was trying to avoid that. I’m presuming it’s a Pioneer because the name comes up on the screen when it warms up. Thank you for the info.
