Tried reset several times, and get response below.
Do I need new USB cable or firmware updates?
Android Auto is setup on my phone properly as is Android Auto on the head unit.

I would check if the port has any debris in it then try a new cable.

Could the head unit be detecting malware or something that gives a false positive as malware?

I would start with the USB cable. If that doesn't work, then the firmware.

Oh, and is your phone fully charged? Maybe trying to draw too much juice?
