Suggestions for 12" sub.

I just picked up a Stinger Audio MT-700.1 (500x1@2 ohms, 700x1@1 ohm). I also have a Fox Acoustics 12" enclosure for a 2016 Ram Quad Cab. It is sealed with 1 cubic foot of airspace.

Initially I was looking at a 12" Sundown SML as it seems like it would fit the box perfectly and is right within my budget, but I'm unsure how it will perform being a shallow sub. I can't find many reviews on it, but the ones I have found have been favorable.

Two others that may be contenders are the Sundown SLD or the DC Level 2, but both of them are pushing the top end of my budget ( I'd like to keep it around $200). I've also looked at the Incriminator Audio I series, SSA Demon, and Alpine S2 series. Sundown also has refurbished SD-4 12's on their site for $190, so that's an option too.

This enclosure has an adapter ring that allows you to use a 10" sub so that opens up my options, but I figured with limited space I should probably go with as much cone area as I can.

I listen to a little bit of everything, but the majority of it is metal and rap (mainly 90's gangster rap).

I'd like to keep the price around $200 but it's not set in stone. $250 is pushing it and I definitely don't want to spend more than $300. What would be the best choice out of what I've listed, or what else can anyone recommend?

I'd get the SLD. The Demon if you want to keep it cheap. Incriminator makes awesome subs but the i series use stamped steel baskets so I wouldnt buy it.

I'm leaning heavily towards the SLD even though it's in the higher end of my budget (mainly because it's available locally). Buy once, cry once right? I did have the Demon's predecessor, the Dcon, over 10 years ago and it pounded on 300 watts.

I'd probably go with 10s myself just looking at the small airspace and port area in the photos on the website.
I'm curious to hear if anyone knows the in2 of ea port, the website doesn't mention anything.
