Hi all - This amp came in an auction I won for a subwoofer. Trying to understand the previous owner's wiring option in the attached pic.

The amp may have what is called a turn on pop, or at least it may have in the previous owners ride. The resistor may be there to cure that. They may have also had the amp on a switch. Wire it correctly and see if it has any issues.
