You think these extra "features" aren't also tracking and collecting data on you...which the federal government buys to circumvent any violation of rights claims...On the roads, yeah. TBH, what freedom is being sacrificed? The freedom to drive hammered?
That ship has already sailed; ie we all know the corporatocracy turns the mics on on our phones and listens to our conversations. You think these extra "features" aren't also tracking and collecting data on you...which the federal government buys to circumvent any violation of rights claims...
So what freedoms do you think? The more "connected" the things you own become...the more data law enforcement has access to without a warrant...

So since it's already happening...promote it intruding farther? That ship has already sailed; ie we all know the corporatocracy turns the mics on on our phones and listens to our conversations.
I don't see the course reversing. I resisted it for a long time, but clearly this where we're headed. If there is plan to reduce all these intrusions, let me know. Until then, yeah if I can stop all the a-holes whi feel that public roads are their personal race tracks and put everyone else at risk, then sign me up. I'd rather see GPS tracking than quadrupling the police force. So since it's already happening...promote it intruding farther?
Too many accept it like you say but that doesn't make it right or deserving of endorsements...I don't see the course reversing. I resisted it for a long time, but clearly this where we're headed. Neither republicans, democrats or the people that own them would support such a bill. The voters have completely lost control of our elected representatives.Too many accept it like you say but that doesn't make it right or deserving of endorsements...
It could all be fixed by a simple bill stating the individual owns their data...
