Isn't funny how right wing capitalist pigs get fat at the trough of gov't feed?
Many great American companies like Boeing John Deere got their start from government contracts.
I have multiple friends at are/were in charge govt contracts and spending and they all tell me same of how all money had to be spent. Use it or lose it or they will cut next year’s budget. It’s crazy spending spree when it comes to the end of the fiscal year.

I've seen it before. Happens in the private sector too. Literally punished for being responsible with the budget.

Neither republicans, democrats or the people that own them would support such a bill. The voters have completely lost control of our elected representatives.
Exactly...but saying you're good with the expansion puts you in with everyone else that just wants to follow along

Love it. Let's get the drunks off the road. I'd love for them to GPS for speed and get the racers off the road too.

Instead, why not permanently take away their driver's license. Or, if the want it back, they will have to completely give up alcohol. A finger prick and in a finger scanner will allow them to start their car. If they are ever caught overriding it or cheating it, they lose their license forever.

You can say the same for about General Motors, Solyndra, and all those other solar/green energy companies that ended up screwing the Americans.

Elon did screw America. He is endorsing the Republican party for a reason, and that reason is to truly save democracy. If you forgot why he purchased Twitter, take a trip down memory lane. He sure as heck didn't do it as an investment.

Just look at what's Newsom is doing to California. He's killing our democracy but claiming the Republicans are doing it.

I'm fine with that too. But those measures don't stop somebody while in the act. And lets be honest, if you're willing to drive drunk (and I'm talking hammered not these incredibly tight laws, like .12%+) and risk your own and other people's lives, then I don't think permanent lose of license is much of a deterrent.

Both sides are fawked, which is why anybody with a D or R next their name rarely gets my vote. I agree, Elon's purchase of twitter was based on principle. I completely disagree that the GOP and Trump in particular are on a mission to save democracy.
